I replaced almost all the orange leds. It was my first time soldering SMD components by hand and i had no idea what leds the original were, so i chose to replace them with 0603 leds. Unfortunately those were about half the size of the already very small leds that were in the maschine. Still used them though ;)
The 16 pads are all white now, the transport section is blue and the topline and the line vertically next to the pads are green.
I also made hardwooden sidepanels and i replaced all the knobs with aluminum ones. Click the picture for a bigger image…

New release: SynnyS – Finnished EP #NLD147 (Naked Lunch Records, Portugal) will be released on the 24th of March.
This EP will include the tracks “Tilaa” and “Naive”.

After releasing the original dreamer track in 2003 on the german label A3C0I3D Tracks, 2Junxion is back with interesting remixes. Remixing this track was quite a challenge because the bassline after the break is pitched so high, that neither the original Roland TB-303 nor any known hardware or software emulator of the TB-303 could reach the the highest note. A selfmade TB303 clone by some electro engineering student was used in the original track, it had no midi out port so everything was a live one-time recording.

The dreamer was inspired by hidden truths and the theory that mankind is only living a dream. SynnyS Panophobia (“the fear of everything”) remix emphasizes this by adding some fearsome soundscapes to the track, while Pzylo’s remix keeps it real banging. The 2Junxion 2010 and Coma remixes are also some really fresh new takes on the original, a lot of new 2Junxion material can be expected in the near future!
